Muni Ved Vyasji has given to the world a unique treasure of knowledge. He has described the Vedas in eighteen Puranas and has enabled the world to understand the Vedas – thus, he has become very famous in the world. There is a special day when he is worshipped which is called as Vyas Puja and Guru Poomima. Even today, the one who stands on a platform and tells the people some knowledgeable things, is often called “Vyas” since he is attempting to educate the masses.
